Paris has no shortage of great hotels, but the Paris Marriott Champs Elysees Hotel is worth considering. The hotel is steeped in history and located in one of the most popular areas of Paris.

With spacious rooms, friendly staff, great dining options, and a central location, there was plenty to love about the hotel. Here is a full look at some of the best things about my April 2026 stay.

1. Booking the Paris Marriott Champs Elysees Hotel With Points

During my stay, rooms at the Paris Marriott Champs Elysees Hotel were priced at roughly $700 per night, with rates ranging from $600 to $1,200, or 90,000 to 130,000 points, depending on the time of year. During my stay, I would have needed to redeem 310,500 points to fully cover my 3 nights.

While the property is on the expensive side for points redemptions, the Marriott Bonvoy program is a 1:1 transfer partner with Amex Membership Rewards, Bilt Rewards, and Chase Ultimate Rewards. All Marriott Bonvoy members receive a fifth night free on award bookings, boosting the value of points by 20% on 5-night stays.

2. The Hotel Has a Fascinating History

The Paris Marriott Champs Elysees Hotel is in a historic building dating back to 1914. It was formerly the flagship of the House of Vuitton, and the domain of designer Jenny Sacerdote. Remnants of the old Louis Vuitton signage are on the building’s facade.

The building now pays homage to the House of Vuitton’s heritage, celebrating its Art Nouveau history and elegance with modern luxury.

The property oozed Parisian class, with wrought-iron balconies, a grand marble staircase, timeless design, and a beautiful, jaw-dropping glass dome in its entrance atrium.

Located in the 8th arrondissement, the Paris Marriott Champs Elysees Hotel is the only 5-star property to be located directly on Avenue des Champs-Élysées. The Champs-Élysées is the premier shopping destination in Paris, especially for visiting high-end boutiques and flagship stores of designers like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Dior.

That said, Champs-Élysées has more to offer than just shopping, as it’s close to many major attractions, including the Arc de Triomphe, Place de la Concorde, the Grand Palais, the Petit Palais, Crazy Horse Paris, and the Jardin des Tuileries.

There is no shortage of great eateries in the area, like Aqua Kyoto and Zeffirino Paris, and it’s a short 5-minute walk from Metro stations George V and Franklin D. Roosevelt, which offer easy connections to the rest of Paris.

4. My Room Was Spacious and Comfortable

Parisian hotel rooms can be extremely cozy, to put it mildly. This was not the case at the Paris Marriott Champs Elysees Hotel, where my room was quite spacious by Parisian standards. It featured a king-sized bed — another rarity for the City of Light.

The base-level rooms at the property are either Deluxe Queens or Deluxe Kings, ranging from 269 to 301 square feet. Suite options may be more suitable for traveling couples or families.

I was upgraded to one of these suites, the Champs Elysees Suite, which spanned 538 square feet, featured multiple seating areas, and had spectacular views from the balcony of classic Haussmannian buildings, a partial view of the Eiffel Tower, and the liveliness of the Champs-Élysées below.

It featured neutral tones, saffron accents, sculptural lighting, and beautiful oak flooring for a sophisticated ambiance.

5. Select Room Types Can Be Great for Families

If you’re traveling as a large family, the hotel offers several Grand Family Suites that can accommodate up to 6 people.

Each Grand Family Suite is over 1,100 square feet and features a king bedroom, a second bedroom with 2 double beds, a spacious, separate living room with a foldout bed, and 3 ensuite bathrooms.

6. There Were 2 Great Food and Beverage Options

The hotel has 2 on-site restaurants: Jenny for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and Cira Terrace Paris, which opened to the public on May 4, 2026.

Additionally, the Paris Marriott Champs Elysees Hotel offers a full continental breakfast, featuring freshly baked breads and pastries, fresh fruit, a selection of cold cuts, a buffet of hot items, and a variety of espresso-based drinks.

Continental breakfast is complimentary with Marriott Platinum Elite status or higher.

Jenny features a wide variety of French classics, like a selection of viennoiseries for breakfast, or French onion soup and croque monsieur for lunch. Jenny also doubles as the hotel bar, offering a variety of drinks, including beers, wines, liquors, and expertly crafted cocktails.

Cira features Mediterranean dishes aimed to bring a taste of the French Riviera to Paris, nestled within an open-air courtyard that provides a welcome haven and respite after a long day of exploring Paris. Dishes include grilled fish and lamb, with fresh ingredients, and a special in-house olive oil made exclusively for Cira.

7. The Hotel Features Useful Amenities and Guest Services

The property offers standard luxury hotel amenities, including a fitness center, a business center, on-site laundry, and meeting space for business events or weddings.

Additionally, the Clef d’Or concierge can arrange bespoke services like private Louvre tours, Champagne cruises on the Seine, a personal shopper who curates top selections, and reservations at Michelin-starred restaurants.

The property has curated exclusive partnerships with world-renowned luxury brands to offer immersive experiences, such as a private workshop on the artistry of fine watchmaking with IWC.

Final Thoughts

The Paris Marriott Champs Elysees Hotel is the perfect hub for visiting the City of Light. It’s a solid luxury hotel stay in the heart of the Champs-Élysées, and a great opportunity to book using Marriott Bonvoy points and elite status benefits.

With spacious rooms, tasteful design, delicious food, and a great location, it had everything I needed and more for a great stay.
