[Expired] New 55% Transfer Bonus From Chase Ultimate Rewards to Marriott Bonvoy [Ends June 30]

Update:

The offer mentioned below has expired and is no longer available.

Chase’s latest promotion means you can receive bonus Marriott Bonvoy points when converting your Ultimate Rewards points to the hotel’s loyalty program.

Through June 30, 2026, you can get a 55% bonus when you transfer your Chase Ultimate Rewards points to Marriott Bonvoy.

While a 55% bonus may seem great at first, there’s more to consider before making a transferespecially since we’ve seen better offers in the past. Let’s take a look at the details.

55% Transfer Bonus From Chase to Marriot — Is It Worth It?

Now, through June 30, 2026, you can get 55% more Marriott Bonvoy points when transferring from Chase Ultimate Rewards.

First and foremost, here’s a reminder of the valuations we assign to the points in each program:

  • Chase Ultimate Rewards points: 2 cents per point
  • Marriott Bonvoy points: 0.7 cents per point

The usual transfer ratio is 1:1, but with the 55% bonus, that increases to 1:1.55.

Consider a transfer of 100,000 Ultimate Rewards points. You’d get 155,000 Marriott Bonvoy points with this bonus. However, using the numbers above for the value of those points, you’d be swapping $2,000 worth of Chase points for just $1,085 worth of Marriott Bonvoy points — over 45% less value!

However, there are occasions where booking some properties using Marriott Bonvoy points transferred from Ultimate Rewards would equate to significant savings.

If you were already planning a Marriott stay and were deciding whether to use cash or points, compare the cash cost against the points cost of your stay using the valuations above.

Once you’ve done that, factor in the bonus points you’d get if you transferred from your Ultimate Rewards account. If you end up saving money after all of that, then it would be worth using this 55% bonus promotion.

It’s also worth it if you need just a few more points in your Marriott account for a hotel you want to book. Topping off with a 55% bonus can help you cross the finish line.

You’ll see the transfer bonus listed clearly on Chase’s transfer page, outlining the transfer rate and end date. Note that it can also takeup to 2 days for your Chase Ultimate Rewards points to transfer to Marriott Bonvoy, though transfers often take less than 1 day.

Final Thoughts

A transfer bonus from Chase to Marriott is a fine example of when a promotion isn’t always as good as it sounds at first.

As is often the case, there are reasons for and against utilizing these transfer bonus opportunities. The most important thing to do is to work out whether you personally would benefit from using this transfer bonus and whether it aligns with your travel plans.
