As the school year winds down and summer plans start taking center stage, Disneyland Resort has announced some new highlights for the whole family to enjoy.

The 70th Celebration continues to roll on, Bluey is coming, there are new experiences at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and Soarin’ Across America officially takes off.

If you need something to do, you might want to consider a visit to The Happiest Place on Earth this summer!

“Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” debuted on March 22, 2026, inside the Fantasyland Theatre at Disneyland Park. The theatre has transformed into Bluey’s school grounds, where she and her sister, Bingo, will take the stage to sing and play games.

There are games like Keepy Uppy, and interactive adventures inside a life-sized Gnome Village and Fairy Garden. There are even themed foods at the Troubadour Tavern, inspired by the animated Disney+ series.

Plus, join the Disney Friends Dance Party at the Disney Theater at Disney California Adventure Park. Over at Disneyland Park, Stitch and friends return to Tomorrowland Terrace for “Stitch’s Interplanetary Beach Party Blast.”

Magical Experiences

In addition to all of the festivals and events, special additions are coming to some of our favorite attractions.

Star Wars

Starting on May 22, 2026, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland Park will be getting an all-new story, centered around “The Mandalorian and Grogu,” just in time for the release of the new Star Wars film.

Also starting May 22, BDX droids will return to Disneyland Park, making a new home at Black Spire Station. That is in addition to new meet-and-greets with characters from multiple eras of Star Wars history at Galaxy’s Edge, including Darth Vader and Imperial Stormtroopers, Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, and Han Solo.

Plus, for a limited time, guests can watch “The Curious Child,” a short film featuring Grogu testing his ability to recall memories of his adventures with The Mandalorian, which plays after “Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga.”

Soarin’

Starting on July 2, 2026, the much-loved attraction Soarin’ will receive a new limited-time overlay to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary.

This all-new airborne adventure will be titled “Soarin’ Across America” and will “showcase some of the country’s natural beauty and iconic cityscapes.”

Special Hotel and Ticket Offers

Both Disneyland and Walt Disney World recently announced price increases on their most expensive tickets. Fortunately, the lowest-priced tickets remained unchanged.

To help make those off-peak dates a bit more affordable, Disneyland offers a variety of ticket options starting at $104, available at Disneyland.com/offers.

Parents will be happy to know that kids’ tickets start at $50 per child for a 1-Day Park Hopper Ticket.

For guests looking to spend the night on property, there is an offer to save up to 25% on stays of 4 nights or more at a Disneyland Resort Hotel from May 22 through September 7, 2026. Or, for shorter stays, save 15% at the Disneyland Resort Hotel.

Bottom Line:

There is a lot to see and do at Disneyland this summer and beyond. Be sure to check the event calendar to see what will be available during your next visit.
