New IHG Promotions: Earn 10K Points at Ruby Hotels, Choose How You Earn at Other Brands

IHG One Rewards is out with a new promotion to earn 10,000 bonus points every 2 nights at its Ruby Hotels brand. There’s also an ongoing offer that lets you choose how you want to earn points for the next few months. You can earn 8,000 points every 4 nights or 2,000 points every 2 nights.

Let’s take a look at these offers to see how they can make your next IHG stay more rewarding.

Earn Bonus Points at Ruby Hotels

IHG One Rewards members can earn 10,000 bonus points for every 2 nights they spend at Ruby properties between July 24 and October 31, 2026. There’s no limit to how many points you can earn with this offer.

Ruby is a limited-service brand with properties across Europe, and guests must register for this offer by October 21, 2026.

New ‘Pick Your Points’ Promotion

Guests can pick their preferred way to earn with the latest offer: Either earn 2,000 points every 2 nights or earn 8,000 points every 4 nights. The latter provides an average of 2,000 points per night, while the former provides 1,000 per night.

This promotion applies to stays between May 20 and August 31, 2026, and it requires registration. You must choose which offer you want at the time of registration. Only stays after registration will qualify for bonus points.

Nights stayed under this offer are cumulative, so a stay of 3 nights and another stay of 1 night would count toward the 4 nights required for earning 8,000 points. There’s no limit to how many points you can earn under this offer.

Aside from this promotion, IHG members also earn 10 points per $1 spent. There are also bonus earnings for IHG elite members.

Is It Worth It?

We value IHG points at 0.5 cents each, so 4,000 points are worth $20, while 10,000 points are worth $50.

These earnings sound nice, but are you paying more to unlock them? Consider that as you compare IHG’s hotel rates against what other hotels are charging at your intended destination. If IHG is charging more, do some quick math to see if you’re spending more to earn these points than what the points are worth in the end.

If you’re already planning stays with IHG in the next few months or find a great deal on a hotel, you should definitely take advantage of these promotions. Just don’t go out of your way or spend more to earn the points.

Final Thoughts

IHG has a new promotion that lets members earn 10,000 bonus points every 2 nights at Ruby properties in Europe through October 31. That’s on top of another offer allowing members to choose how they want to earn: 2,000 points every 2 nights or 4,000 points every 8 nights. Both offers require registration before you can start earning points.
