Buy Frontier Miles With a 150% Bonus [Until August 28]

If you need to stock up on Frontier miles, now is a great time to do so.

It wasn’t long ago that you couldn’t buy Frontier Miles. Now, we’ve seen several sales from the loyalty program, and this one offers a 150% bonus.

While Frontier miles aren’t known for being the most valuable, there are a few instances where purchasing miles could make sense.

Here’s a look at the promotion and what you need to know to decide if it is worth buying Frontier miles with a 150% bonus.

Purchase Frontier Miles With a 150% Bonus

Between now and August 28, 2026, you can receive a 150% bonus when you purchase 10,000 or more Frontier Airlines miles.

  • Buy 1,000 miles without a bonus
  • Buy 2,000+ miles with a 100% bonus
  • Buy 10,000+ miles with a 150% bonus (1.08 cents per mile)
  • Direct link to purchase

If you purchase the maximum of 50,000 miles, you’ll take home 125,000 miles after the 150% bonus. This will cost you $1,343.75 after taxes, meaning you’ll pay 1.08 cents per mile.

Here are the other essential terms to be aware of:

  • The promotion to purchase miles is valid until 11:59 p.m. ET on August 28, 2026.
  • You must purchase a minimum of 2,000 Frontier miles to receive any bonus
  • Purchases are nonrefundable.
  • Miles will typically be posted within 24 hours of being purchased.
  • Purchased miles do not count toward elite status.

The usual price to purchase Frontier miles is 2.69 cents per mile, but the 150% bonus reduces that rate to 1.08 cents apiece.

Is It Worth It?

At Upgraded Points, we value Frontier miles at 1.1 cents each, so buying miles at a slightly lower rate than that can make sense.

Since the Frontier Miles loyalty program is revenue-based, the number of miles required for a ticket depends on the cash cost of the flight you’re booking. Given that, it isn’t easy to get outsized redemption value, but it’s possible to squeeze out some value here and there.

Final Thoughts

While we’ve seen many programs offer promotions to purchase points and miles, Frontier is relatively new to this arena.

This promotion, even with the 150% bonus, won’t make sense for everyone but does provide some value. This sale drops the acquisition cost to roughly 1.08 cents per mile, which is slightly lower than our estimated value of Frontier miles. If you want to take advantage of this offer, ensure you do so before it ends on August 28, 2026.
