United Quest Card’s Welcome Offer History: 2021 to 2026

Chase and United Airlines launched the United Quest℠ Card in the spring of 2021, bridging the gap between an entry-level and ultrapremium card.

The $350 annual fee may sound like a big number, but once you look closely, the United Quest card’s value is clear. It’s jam-packed with United benefits, but it doesn’t offer the same lounge access as the United Club℠ Card that has more than double the annual fee.

If you’re thinking about applying for the United Quest card, you should consider what previous welcome offers have been available. While you can’t predict whether a higher bonus offer will come back, you can get a better sense of when the right time might be to open your account.

When To Apply for the United Quest Card

The United Quest card offers the following publicly available welcome bonus offer:

• Earn up to 100,000 United MileagePlus bonus miles and 3,000 PQP after spending $4,000 on qualifying purchases in the first three months of opening an account (90K + 10K more miles after adding an authorized user in the first three months).

The strongest welcome offer we’ve seen on the United Quest card has included 100,000 bonus miles and 3,000 PQPs. PQPs don’t carry a direct monetary value, as they’re used solely to qualify for elite status.

Lastly, the minimum spending requirement has generally stayed more in line, requiring $4,000 in spend in the first 3 months of account opening, but that has changed a few times since the card’s launch in 2021.

• 10,000-mile discount to use toward an award flight every cardmember anniversary
• 1,000 annual PQPs awarded starting in the calendar year following your account open date
• More than $850 in annual credits, including up to $200 for United travel, up to $150 for Renowned Hotels and Resorts, up to $100 in rideshare services, up to $180 in Instacart credits, and more
• Global Entry or TSA PreCheck application fee credits
• Other United benefits, including priority boarding and a 25% United inflight discount
